Random Thoughts: Job Searching, caNNOT HANDLE asldsfhe;
So I applied for a position at ULTA, went in 2-3 days later, spoke to an employee who said to call in and chat with the manager. Instead I went back the next day, spoke to the manager in which she tells me that there’s a new manager in training and that I should speak to her since she (the old manager) will be leaving soon.
Then the following week (last week) I dressed up pretty nicely, did my make-up all nice and shit, went in and spoke to the new manager and told her how I’m available for whenever since currently I’m not taking any classes or anything; she was very pleased and told me that on Monday she’ll call.
She never did.
I waited, then said “Fuck it” and called her yesterday (Wednesday). She said that when the old manager comes in (she’s still in training or whatever) she’ll then look up my info and give me a call.
She never called. Again.
I’d love to work there and have thought of calling her again later today if she doesn’t call, but I’m not sure if that’s a wise choice…
Bah, whatever, I just applied elsewhere where they’re hiring so I’ll just have to deal with it. Can’t be picky anyway.
